A Message from the Nursery School

May 1, 2018

There are definitely signs of spring outside our classroom windows here at Temple Beth El Nursery School. Indoors seem to be keeping up with the season as well. Our bulletin boards are blooming with colorful flowers and fresh-cut green grass.

The 4-year-old class recently returned from a “trip to Israel” with a robust itinerary including prayers at the Kotel, climbing Masada, floating in the Dead Sea, and having lunch in the orange groves, all before heading home for a 2 p.m. dismissal. Our 3-year-old class has been busy as well, turning their classroom into the local market, fully stocked and ready to welcome customers; who needs Whole Foods! In our 2-year-old class we are getting ready to start our butterfly curriculum, learning and understanding new words like metamorphosis and chrysalis as we discover butterfly stages.

Additionally, we have enjoyed an array of enrichment programs scheduled both during and after school hours. Programs with Teddy Tennis, Head to Toe Gymnastics, JCC on the Palisades, Closter Nature Center, Music Together, and many more, have provided fun and kinesthetic enrichment.

TBE summer camp registration is now underway along with registration for the 2018-2019 Nursery School year. Please contact us in the Nursery School office at 201-768-3726 for further information.

Have a happy and safe Spring & Summer!

Warm regards,
Barbara Weinberg
