Music at Temple Beth El

Music at Temple Beth El is a foundation of our congregational life. Beth El provides many ways to experience the beauty and joy of music. Whether through spiritual worship, monthly musical services with instrumentalists, our children’s and adult programming, special concerts, or our various Jewish music ensembles, music is a deep and ever evolving tradition for our congregational family.

It is the mission of the Music Committee and Music Director to improve temple life and member involvement through innovative and meaningful special music events. Our regular music worship often includes musicians at Guest Artist Shabbat services, our Shabbat Unplugged Band and our Junior Choir, Rinat Beth El. High Holyday worship includes a professional vocal quartet, instrumentalists, our Shofar Choir, and TBE Torah Corp. In addition to our musical programming on Shabbat and the Holydays, we offer concerts and an annual special Saturday evening of fun for the congregation. Our concert series has run since 2001, thanks to the generosity of donors.

Our worship spaces are also equipped with beautiful musical instruments and a state of the art sound system, all enhancing the quality of musical experiences at Temple Beth El.

If you are interested in getting involved in the Music Committee, please contact Dana Hall and Marci Weinstein.  Please check the temple calendar for dates and times of all our special musical worship services and concerts.
